The folks at Pennzoil are building a reputation, not just as an oil company, but as incredible filmmakers! They’ve released their second Dodge film, “Exorcizing The Demon” and it’s brilliant.

Plot? The Demon Don’t Need a Plot!

The plot could be summed up as “Park the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.” That plot may be as simple as those from “Need For Speed”, the movie or the game, or any “Fast And The Furious” film.  However, in it’s 2 minute 30 second running time, it squeezes in a much rubber-burning, tire-squealing, smoke-billowing, engine-growling fun that some movies with much larger budgets wish they had. That’s an incredible feat.

“Exorcizing The Demon” was created by the folks at Pennzoil, an oil company. Pennzoil may be in the wrong business, because this short film is great.

Watch the Demon Video – Turn it Up to 11

View “Exorcizing The Demon” with the sound turned up. It’s a shame to reduce it to a small, hand-held screen, when you should see it on your home theatre system, with the knob turned to 11. But if you must watch this video now, here it is.

After your ears stop ringing, look behind the scenes to see how “Exorcizing The Demon” was made. You’ll find out how a muscle car like this can tear through city streets without endangering the public. Yes, it did attract the attention of the local police department, but they were working to keep the streets clear for the filming. You can imagine that the police of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and your hometown would not appreciate you behaving much the same way on our Capital Region roads.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon may tear up roads and blow down signs, but don’t do it in town, please.

Dodge Demon – Behind the Scenes Video

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon rips up streets in a way only done in the movies. In real life, thiss muscle car craves responsible drivers and a drag strip. And, if you have the optional passenger seat installed, you could take 1 person with you. That optional passenger seat only costs $1, so it’s a bargain.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in now in production. Very few will make it to the Capital District. And those are spoken for. When the Demon does hit our area, you’ll hear the sound echo across the Adirondacks. That noise – that’s The Demon.
